2026 Sunshine State Synchro Classic: Teamwork, Passion, and Unforgettable Moments on Ice

October 24, 2026 | AdventHealth Center Ice | Wesley Chapel, Florida

The ice was filled with energy, excitement, and incredible teamwork as synchronized skating teams gathered at AdventHealth Center Ice in Wesley Chapel for the 2026 Sunshine State Synchro Classic.

With 33 teams participating, the competition brought together skaters of different ages and skill levels for a day celebrating one of figure skating's most exciting disciplines.

From the developing Aspire teams to the more experienced competitors, every routine showcased the dedication, precision, and countless hours of preparation that go into synchronized skating.

For Taylor Art Photos and Taylor Art Sports, it was another opportunity to capture the moments that make this sport special.

A Celebration of Synchronized Skating

Unlike individual figure skating, synchronized skating requires an entire team to move together, combining technical skating skills with choreography, timing, and trust.

Throughout the competition, teams demonstrated intricate formations, coordinated transitions, and creative routines that highlighted both their athleticism and artistry.

But beyond the technical elements, what stood out was the teamwork.

From the excitement before taking the ice to the celebrations following each performance, the Sunshine State Synchro Classic was filled with moments that reminded us why we love covering skating competitions.

For many athletes, these competitions represent months of practice, early mornings at the rink, and the shared experience of working toward something bigger than themselves.

Bringing Synchronized Skating to Life with Three-Camera Coverage

This year's competition also marked an exciting milestone for Taylor Art Sports.

For the first time, our crew introduced a three-camera production setup for synchronized skating, expanding how we capture and share performances.

Synchronized skating presents unique challenges for video production. With multiple athletes moving through formations across the entire ice surface, capturing a routine requires careful coordination and an understanding of how teams move together.

Our expanded setup combined different camera perspectives to provide more complete coverage of the performances, from full-team formations to closer views of the action.

The production also featured a livestream, allowing families, friends, and skating supporters to follow the competition beyond the rink.

It was our first event using this expanded setup, and while we're continuing to refine the process, we're excited about what it means for future skating coverage.

Our goal remains simple: give athletes and families more ways to relive the performances they've worked so hard to perfect.

Capturing More Than the Competition

While the performances are the centerpiece of every skating event, some of our favorite moments happen away from the competition itself.

Team portraits capture the friendships and personalities behind the routines. Action photography freezes moments that might otherwise pass in an instant. Performance videos allow skaters to revisit the choreography and teamwork that brought their programs together.

At the Sunshine State Synchro Classic, our coverage included:

• Synchronized skating action photography

• Team portraits

• Multi-angle performance videos

• Event livestream coverage

Together, these create a lasting collection of memories for the athletes and families who make up the synchronized skating community.
