Look at this dashing man in his cowboy hat and weathered jacket. That model is me, Kevin Taylor. I am not a natural model. I am by far more comfortable behind the camera and processing photos at my laptop. But that’s what makes me a great photographer, according to Erin (my wife and teammate). I understand that most of my clients aren’t models, but we can still take stunning portraits that are intended to hang on your walls as art, canvas, art prints, or acrylic images.
Whether you come to our studio or we take the studio to you - even the great outdoors - the Taylor team has a knack for getting intense poses, as well as carefree moments. Oh, and the important stuff. My experience began with fitness and event photographery, blossomed into theatre productions and portraits, led me to art portraits, and now I am fully immersed in creating unique and layered composites. My photography “education” is continuous as I network with other photographers, enhance my techniques with new processes and incorporate contemporary technology . I always say, if Kevin can make this 40+ year old mother of two look like her portraits belong in an art gallery, every other client will be a breeze. We both specialize in portrait photography, but we also shoot family photography, if that’s more your speed.
I assist Kevin with concept development, posing and creative make-up. Photography is exciting, as you get to know a person and create a story for them using the camera as a paint brush.
