How Do I Book a Session

Clients have two options, to book a private session at our studio or off-site at a location of your choosing.

  • Advertised sessions can be viewed on the Schedule Session page. Choose Your Session > Select Your Preferred Time & Add-ons> Follow the Payment Options. That’s it, you’re booked!

  • Private sessions are available if you want a different date for a theme, or if you require a photographer for a private event or public function. Simply email us or use the contact form and we will contact you back in a timely manner.

What is Included in a Session

Each sessions has a set number of images included with the session price. Visit the session style you are interested in and view the pricing menu. For Family & Physique, raw images are gently edited to ensure lighting and composition are optimally presented, as well as taking into consideration how the final images will be displayed once printed. Fine Art and MOXIE sessions require an additional processing technique to create the distinct artistic refinement. Certain add-ons for the sessions may include extra digital photos or time.

Photos will be delivered to clients via an online photo gallery, where images can be easily shared and downloaded. Clients have the option to download the digital images and print them with their preferred photo service, or can order prints, canvases and photo gifts from our gallery partner.

What Do I Wear

The big question! What should you wear to a Taylor Art Photos shoot.

Fine Art Portrait: Gowns, suits, vintage, costumes. Bring props, such as musical instruments, toys, and even pets are allowed. Just give us a heads-up and we can accommodate.

MOXIE: Costumes, lingerie, rockabilly, bodysuits, fishnet stockings, playful masks, high heels, and party dresses. Think EXTREME as we will be working these images to create a caricature of you and your spirit. Props allowed, such as vintage cameras and binoculars, martini glasses, and more.

Physique or Fitness Shoot: Options include competition bikinis and posing trunks, bathing suits, form fitting dresses, and simple jeans and solid tees.

Film Noir: Think detective novels and murder mysteries. Vintage wear, gowns, and suits. Boas, long gloves, fedoras and floppy hats. Bright lipstick completes almost any ensemble. Bring props from home or use the props we have on hand.

Family Portraits: Outfits that complement each other. They should not match 100%, but the colors should work well together. White is popular, but feel free to go with shades of blue, pink, and green. Limit patterns, since they can distract from the final image. Save red plaid for Christmas sessions! And for kids, try to stay away with shirts that have characters on them. Simple style will go far!
